Terms of sale and use
The plain-English rules for buying and using our products and this website.
1. Who we are
This website and its products are provided by Daniel Collins, trading as Sourced Trader (“we”, “us”). Contact: support@sourcedtrading.com.
2. What you're buying
Our products are digital downloads: software, AI skill files, spreadsheets, workflow files, guides and templates. When you buy one, you're buying a licence to use it, not ownership of the product itself. Each product includes a LICENSE file with the full terms; if that file and these terms conflict, the LICENSE file wins for that product.
3. Licence
- Personal licence: one person may install and use the product on any number of their own devices and tools, and change it for their own use.
- Team licence (where offered): one organisation, up to the number of users stated.
- You may not resell, share, publish, sublicense or upload the product or substantial parts of it to any marketplace, repository or file-sharing service.
- What you create with our tools, such as your research notes, journal entries and scripts you write, belongs to you.
- Public data the tools use, such as SEC filings, isn't ours and isn't covered by the licence.
4. Prices, payment and delivery
Prices are shown in US dollars. Taxes may be added at checkout. Payment and delivery are handled by our checkout provider, which may act as merchant of record and apply its own terms to the transaction. Download access is provided right after payment.
5. Refunds
See our refund policy: 14 days, no questions asked.
6. Updates
Updates within the same major version (for example 1.0 to 1.9) are free. We may offer major new versions as paid upgrades. We aim to keep products working, but third-party services they rely on (such as SEC EDGAR, exchange export formats, TradingView or n8n) can change without notice.
7. Not advice
Our products and website are for education, research and record-keeping. They are not investment, financial, legal or tax advice, and they don't recommend any security, crypto-asset or strategy. You're solely responsible for your own trading and investment decisions. See the financial disclaimer.
8. Accuracy and third-party data
Our tools work with data from third parties and from you. Filings can be amended, export files can contain errors, and automated tools and AI assistants can misread data. Always check important figures against the original source before relying on them.
9. Acceptable use
Use our products lawfully and in line with the terms of any service they connect to, including the SEC's fair-access rules for EDGAR (identify yourself and stay under its request limit) and the terms of your exchange, TradingView or n8n.
10. Warranty and liability
Products are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties beyond those required by law. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for trading or investment losses, lost profits, or indirect or consequential losses arising from using our products or website, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the product concerned. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law, or your statutory consumer rights.
11. Changes
We may update these terms. The version in force when you bought a product applies to that purchase.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Western Australia, Australia. If you're a consumer, you also keep the protections of the law where you live.
