What's inside
1. Gross looks good. Net is what's left. Trading fees are charged on every fill, in and out. Funding is paid or received at each interval while a position is open, and usually lives in a separate history. Measuring each closed trade net of both, then in R against the risk planned, lets trades of different sizes be compared fairly.
2. A worked example. Three made-up trades in one week: gross +$380, net +$200 after $84 of fees and $96 of funding. Example numbers only; not real results, not a forecast, not a strategy.
3. The 10-minute weekly routine. Export the week, log every closed trade with its planned stop, attach fees and funding, work out net and net R, tag the bad trades honestly, and write one line.
4. A printable checklist for the routine.
Education, not advice. General information only; it doesn't consider your objectives or situation. Trading leveraged derivatives carries a high risk of loss.
